ORDERING INFORMATION

  1. All orders placed on-line using the shopping cart are made over a secure site. Order processing is performed by PayPal and fulfillment of the order is performed by Margaret's Cupboard. We do not accept COD's!

  2. Items listed on our site but without on line ordering capability (no Add to Cart button) may be ordered by calling or emailing us. We can send you a Paypal invoice which you can securely pay on line using your credit card or Paypal account. As alternatives, you may make payment by check, money order, Discover, Visa, or Mastercard. If paying by Credit Card, when you call, please have it in front of you when ordering so the information is available to you. We highly recommend using a land line (not a cell phone) for much greater security. Cash and credit card orders will normally be shipped within 3 business days if product is in stock. Orders paid by check or money order will be shipped when instrument has been cleared by our bank, normally 1 to 2 weeks.

  3. All orders are subject to availability. We try to have all listed product in stock at all times but this cannot always be done. If an ordered item(s) is out of stock we will refund your account the amount of the item(s) and appropriate shipping cost.
    We do not "backorder" items.

  4. We do not ship product "on approval". Please be certain the product you order is what you want. We make a concerted effort to fairly present product descriptions on our web site and by phone. Keep in mind that most of the product we sell is produced at least in part by hand and therefore may vary in color, shape and texture. This is considered normal.

  5. All merchandise is inspected by us prior to shipment and will be in good condition. Our responsibility for the condition of the product ends when delivered to the carrier. Lost, damaged or broken goods are the sole responsibility of the carrier and all claims must be made to them. We will insure shipments for you and provide such proof of insurance to you for any necessary claims to the carrier by you. At our option we may choose to self insure the shipment and claim may be made to us, in which case we may request the shipment be returned to us with the original packaging. Settlement for such claims will be, at our option, to replace the items or refund the cost of the merchandise.

  6. Our preferred method of shipment is US Postal Service Priority Mail (Shipping Information below). We can ship by other means, if desired, and cost of shipment will be determined based upon weight, size and destination as calculated by the carrier.

    SHIPPING INFORMATION

    United States Domestic:

    1. Orders are normally shipped within 2 business days. If a delay of more than 4 days occurs we will contact you by telephone or email.

    2. Orders shipped to destinations within the contiguous 48 states, Alaska, Hawaii and APO's and of a value less than $200.00 will be shipped by USPS Priority Mail and should arrive in 3-7 days. Shipping charges, based upon our past shipping history and current rates, will be as follows unless specified differently with the product offering:

      • Orders from $1.00 to $49.99 will be charged $9.50 and includes insurance.
      • Orders from $50.00 to $99.99 will be charged $12.50 and includes insurance.
      • Orders from $100.00 to $199.99 will be charged $15.00 and includes insurance.
      • Orders $200.00 and up will be charged $19.00 and includes insurance. Shipping will be by method and carrier of our choice, either USPS or UPS. Signature confirmation may be required. If a specific method is prefered by you let us know and we will invoice you any additional charges using Paypal Invoicing.
      • Shipping charges are refundable only if shipment is not delivered to the carrier.

    3. Expedited shipping via USPS or UPS is available for an additional charge. Typically the charge will be about $25.00 for up to 2 lbs. plus $3.50 per pound over 2 lbs. and includes insurance. Please indicate in the Shopping Cart Message section that you desire Express Shipping or call us at 303-750-4786. We will invoice you the additional charges by PayPal Invoicing. Upon receipt of funds we will ship. Delivery is normally within 2-5 days. Call or email us if this method is preferred.

    4. A record of all shipments will be maintained for a period of 45 days after shipment and will include insurance documentation for claims if needed.

    5. Other methods of shipping can be arranged at your request. Additional charges may apply and will be invoiced to you by PayPal for payment prior to shipment.

    International Shipping

    1. Orders shipped outside the United States will be shipped by United States Postal Service Priority International Mail unless you specify another means of transport.

    2. All payments must be in US Dollars.

    3. Charges will be at our cost in US Dollars plus insurance cost(if available) plus a $10.00 Handling fee.  Additional charges will be invoiced to you by PayPal for payment prior to shipment. Failure to pay the invoice within 3 days will cause cancelation of the transaction and refund of payment received.

    4. Shipping times will vary dramatically and may take a month or more depending upon service to the destination.

    5. Customs and import duties are the responsibility of the customer. We have no way of determining these charges. We are responsible only for completing the proper declaration forms as accurately as possible. If you have questions regarding customs and duties you may be responsible to pay, please contact your local customs office.
